What this service covers

Get the layout right the first time

A new layout done wrong is expensive to fix later, whether it's wasted stalls, blocked fire lanes, or an ADA count that fails inspection. We design every layout to work the first time.

  • On-site measurement and chalk layout before any paint is applied
  • Stall counts optimized for your lot's size and traffic flow
  • ADA-compliant accessible stalls built into the layout from the start
  • Fire lane placement per local fire code
  • Directional arrows, stop bars, and crosswalks where needed
  • DOT-grade traffic paint for a durable, code-compliant finish

Who's holding the striper

17 years in the Army. Lines are personal.

100% Veteran owned & operated

True Line Pavement is owned and operated by a 17-year U.S. Army veteran based in Shelby Township. The military teaches you two things that matter in this trade: precision, and showing up when you said you would.

That means measured layouts instead of freehand guesses, straight edges instead of wavy paint, phone calls that get returned, and jobs that finish on the schedule we agreed to. Your lot is the first thing every customer sees. It should look squared away.

No sales team, no subcontractor roulette. When you call, you talk to the owner. The person who quotes your lot is the person who paints it.

Straight answers

New parking lot layout FAQ

Do you design the layout or just paint what's marked?

We design it. For new or repaved lots, we measure the space and lay out the most efficient, code-compliant layout before painting anything, so you're not stuck with whatever a contractor chalked out.

How do you decide how many stalls will fit?

Stall count depends on your lot's dimensions, required aisle widths, and ADA accessible-stall requirements based on total spaces. We calculate the maximum safe, compliant stall count for your specific lot.

How long until cars can park on fresh lines?

Traffic paint is dry to the touch in under 30 minutes and ready for vehicles in about an hour in normal Michigan conditions. We phase larger lots so part of your parking stays open the whole time.

Do you work nights and weekends?

Yes. Most of our striping happens when lots are empty: evenings, overnights, and weekends. You pick the window, we work around it.
